This CD includes a series of sample documents, matrices, and data sheets. Each document requires certain fonts in order to display and print correctly.
To print these documents, you will need to load the fonts* in the Fonts folder into your System folder. Open the “Fonts” folder, select all the fonts, and drag them onto your System folder.
You will also need Aldus PageMaker 4.2 to print these documents. PageMaker is available in the Applications folder. PageMaker 4.2 requires system software version 6.0.5 or later. Aldus recommends using system software version 7.0 or later.
Various printers require different drivers. Make sure that you install the printer driver when you set up each printer. The drivers come on disks with the printers.
SPECIAL HINT FOR LASER PRINTERS
To achieve best results using the new Apple laser printers and Aldus PageMaker, be sure to print with the Apple printer driver. Here’s how: Hold down the Option key, choose the File menu, and select Print.
*The TrueType fonts on this CD are licensed for use only in the display and printing of documents and samples on this CD. You may not copy, distribute, or use them for any other purpose. If you want to use these fonts for other purposes, you’ll need to purchase the Apple Font Pack for Macintosh.
